Council News in Brief
The area of Scrayingham and Leppington is served by a small body of local government known as Scrayingham Parish Council, which is responsible for undertaking work on behalf of the Parish residents. There are seven Parish Councillors who meet approximately 4 or 5 times a year - members of the public are welcome to attend these meetings. A small part of the Council Tax you pay – the ‘precept’ - is spent by the Parish Council on your behalf. As there are 130 people on the electoral role in the Scrayingham Parish, the approximate cost per person is under £12 per annum.
